Same as "What's the deal" above. "I tend not to answer my cell these days when I see unknown numbers. As usual, this unknown caller didn't leave a message. As is becoming increasingly common, at least in my experience, when I attempted to immediately return the call on my landline (a private number), I received that well-known message, "The number you have reached has been disconnected or is no longer in service." I heard the same message when I tried the number again on my cell. How do these telemarketers call manage to call from "disconnected" numbers? Curious and irritating."
did not answer, did not recognize the #, in addition, it is 858 area code but the caller id said "Rancho Santa CA", did not leave a msg, so either a seller or scammer...
Unknown caller to cell while on the phone... not answered, no message left. Due to the proximity of the above report from Luis (9 minutes) it really does seem like a spammer. Rancho Santa would refer to Rancho Santa Fe, but that is probably a spoofed number and doesn't reflect any real information anyway.
