Got a call from this number, claiming they were from the "Police Department", collecting money for the wildfire victims. My Mother fell for it, and gave her name and number, so they can "send information", for my Mother to write them a check. I called the number back, and got a vague answering machine message, not stating they were the Police Department, or ANY identifying information. Needless to say, I won't be letting her send them any money; especially a check, with bank information on it!
