But when I called them back to say remove me from your list as these people had this phone years before I got my current number, I get a message that 859-251-5550 does not accept calls. Don't fall for their tactics, as no legitimate collection agency would use this kind of deception.
I am repeatedly receiving calls from this number. I have called and asked them to take me off their list.
They ask for someone names Edna.
I suspect it's a bill collector.

I was called by this number and said his name was Stanley Thomas and my case # was _____ and he was representing Tracy Bradshaw and Associates and denial from making a statement was going to go before the review board and I needed to call back. I looked this up on this page and called back to see if it truly was a scam like all the other calls I had received and yes. When I tried to press * to dial the guys name it wouldn't register so I tried to dial a 0 to get someone to answer and it says all calls have been blocked. This is a scam once again. I do not have any outstanding old creditors. Quit trying to get money from people and go make an honest living like the rest of us!
