I too received a call last week from 859-309-5002. I suspected fraud when they demanded payment for 2 overdue bills when infact they were not overdue. I called back several times and ti appeared to be Verizon but I never punched any keys. I am receiving txts from the # now requesting payment and that service will be interuppted. We are current on our bill and always pay in full.
I called a Verizon wireless dealer and he said it sounded suspicious and suspects fraud. They are checking with the GM on how to report the suspect activity. I have had fraud through Verizon before so I am VERY cautious.
Received a call from this number, they left no message. Answered it the next time, they claim to be Verizon Wireless asking you to make a payment over the phone on your overdue balance.

Called from Verizon. Asking for payment on overdue bill -- we are caught up on all bills/payments... Sounded fraudulent. Contacted Verizon in town and they are looking into the case -- have had others have the same trouble with this number.
I recieved 2 calls from this number then called them back.. didnt sound anything like the verison automated voice however words it said were correct. I clicked 2 for not being a verison member and it said itd be recorded and blah blah blah... then very quickly said i couldnt reach anyone and to call back with the reference of my number. I am 99% sure this is fraud.
