Who called from 8593418372

Caller ID showed Fort Mitchell KY.  I'm assuming an auto attendant listened for a response because my answering machine recorded an automated sounding "goodbye" a few seconds after my outgoing message completed.

Strike one!

Someone has put malicious software on your computer is what they said and asked me to turn on my computer.

They asked if I was the owner of my computer and if I was by it.  This is a SCAMMER trying to get you to install viruses to steal your ID/CC info

Caller ID indicated Call was from Ft. Mitchell, Ky.  As I was not familiar with the number or anyone in Kentucky, I let the recorder pick up the call.  No message left.  I will turn the # into the Attorney General of my State as I am on the Do not Call Registry.  (Not that it Will Do Any Good).

These folks called twice today. They hung up both times and did not leave a message.
