Same crap here...call about once every few weeks and do not leave a message- I simply do not pick up if I don't recognize #. I want to mess with them above like Stephanie did....sounds fun :)
This is a scam. Reached my mother, and was scaring her about problems on her computer - that don't exist. If we hadn't walked in, expect they would have loaded a program on her computer, and charged her to fix it. When we told them not to call back, threatened they would lock up the computer.
Called us twice today. They call every month to my grandparents house. I like to mess with them and say stuff like "oh let me find my computer....okay I'm logging on....do you remember my password to log on?" Then I pretend to fight with my grandparents about uploading to much porn to the computer. They eventually hang up on me!
Caller pretends to be from Microsoft service and say computer id has been stolen and needs access to fix the problem. When cooperation is not forth coming threatens to cancel id so computer will not work. All the while speaking in an urgent manner.
