Called at 10:15 pm tonight offering computer support. Called ID said Independence KY. Unfortunately for them, my wife answered and ripped them a new one. Just got the baby to bed...
Said he was from windows support. Got a call yesterday from another # saying the same thing that there was a virus being downloaded on & on. This a a scam call wanting to hack your computer. I told him immediately that I don’t have a computer! Do not listen or follow his instructions. HANG UP!!!
Said they were calling about my linguis computer . I don't have that make of computer, new something was up. They did have map full name of course that is easy enough to get, it's a scam they hung up when I said I didn't have that make if computer.
My parents got a call from this number also claiming that their computer was hacked or had a virus. She wanted remote access to their computer so she could "Fix It". My parents haven't used their computer in a very long time since they have ipads.
