I agree. Have called twice so far today. I have 48 numbers blocked on my cell phone all scams or telemarketing and I'm sure there will be many more added to that list.
Listed on my caller ID as "FAV". It was the Foundation For American Veterans looking for money. After several early morning calls, I put them on the "call blocked" list in my phone. They call from several different numbers and area codes. It is another "charity" that keeps 95% of the donations they receive.
Received a call from FAV at work today. Noticed in my missed calls they had called several times before. I mistakenly answered and got some yahoo joking that he's not calling to enlist me, ha ha, just to get my support for the vets as my local hospital blah blah blah. Turns out FAV stands for Foundation for American Vets. Scam "charity" that keeps 90% of money raised for "administration". I told him not to call me again.
