Hi. I had a somewhat similar experience as other people, by getting a call in response to my online request for health insurance price quotes. I got a call from 859-554-0538, which is a Lexington KY area code. The voicemail that was left gave a message for America's Health Brokers with the number 800-317-4071. Since the 859 number is where I live, I just called it back, thinking it was legitimate. I got connected to a fellow named Greg with America's Health Brokers, who was very friendly and chatty, and told me about a too-good-to-be-true plan through US Health Group. It had no deductible, no co-pay for first five MD visits, and amazing coverage for hospital procedures. Also, dental and vision and a $10,000 life insurance policy. It all sounded really impossible, but, I didn't actually get suspicious until he said there was a $99 enrollment fee.  I asked him to send me an email with the details so I could share it with my husband, and he said I had 10 days to cancel after I sign up, so, why not go ahead and sign up. I said I absolutely wouldn't make such a decision without informing my husband. He said OK, and said the email would be from this address: [email protected] with the line Your Approved. That was several hours ago, and I still haven't gotten his email. Since Greg was in a hurry to sign me up, you would think he would have sent me an email right away! Every other legitimate company I have talked to has been very quick to send me an email. So, I got online to do some research, and low and behold, I found this site and other people who have had the same thing happening, and it's been going on for years. Still is happening, so be careful -- they must be using local numbers now too.
