Caller ID said Covington, KY. I answered and had to wait for nearly 30 seconds before the robodialer handed the call off to a live person who began a sales pitch and said that I was eligible for free pain relief and was I over 18? I asked the name of the company, and she said Pain Relief Center. I told her that my number was on the National Do Not Call Registry list and that I was going to report them. She said she would put me on their own do not call list and hung up on me.
I received a call from this number just now. I didn't answer and, of course, no message was left. The caller ID read, "pain relief". Really, pain relief? How about relief from scummy scammers.
