I got a call saying I owed thousands to the state and that a tax levy had been filed with my county. I called the state and county and they showed nothing. Once I had told this caller I didnt have money to pay them to help me resolve this "fake" tax debt, he quickly hung up. As far as I can tell it seems to be a scam.
Called my phone, left a message stating a case number of 726250 is pending and I needed to call them as soon as I recieved the message so that no unwanted action would take place. Did not leave company or contact name, other than a number of 1-866-750-4733. Well that number is bogus.
