Got a call from this obviously fraudulent call (what phone exchange anywhere begins with a zero??). Our worthless government idiots can't control the abuse of the scammers faking Caller ID and have no balls to make this sort of stuff illegal!
It already is illegal to provide false CNUM or CNAM caller ID information with the intent to deceive but of course no law has ever stopped a criminal from engaging in criminal activity. Besides, what do you think our government can do to criminals in a foreign country protected by bribes to their country's officials who are the ones most likely to be using this type of non-existent number information since they do not know how our phone system works?
