Who called from 8603225884

I have gotten three text messages for the past three day. All come between two and three o'clock EST. One was for me to call the 860-322-5884 number to verify my identity. Next, was the 510-868-9098 to verify my identity and the last one was "Please verify your status at www.ktfcu-online.com for recently fraud attack." If you go to that web site, it looks like they did not spend alot of time trying to fool someone. For example, the the security code does not change and it does not matter what you type in there, it will still take you to another site to collect more info. Found a web site that looks the same as this one at http://www.velocitycommunity.org/, click double arrows under Velocity eBranch Login. This could be from where they got the ideal on how to create the look of the phish site.

I have recd messages for the last three days from [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. Same message concerning KTCFU. Not sure to delete them or report them to the cell phone carrier???

Please verify your statu at www.ktfcu-secure.com for recently fraud attack

I have no ideal what this stuff is I usually ingnore stuff like this but when I got 3 differnt text i looked it up.

got a text on 9/26/08 asking me to check my status because of a recent fraud attack. i ignored it.

I did a text back and requested some sort of ID, with no response.  Anybody know who/what this is or any reason other than some kind of scam??  Thanks!
