Yes, I'm still in contact with him, we're good friends, but that's none of their business. He told me a few years back that he got a call from a collections agent regarding an Exxon gas card...and that the card had been delivered to MY address, again, from years ago. Total bull**it. Either way, I don't ever deal with collection agencies. Nobody has to, especially if you don't owe the money, but yes, even if you do. Send them a cease and desist letter. If they persist, contact attorneysforconsumers.com in your state and sue them. You WILL win....I know I did, several times.
