Received a call from 8605066541, a woman by the name, Amanda Robinson, claimed to be with the RGF Group. She stated if I did not return her call by the end of the day, 4 pm to be exact, she would assume that I forfeit my right to correct this matter and she would have no choice but to file criminal charges against me. She stated the charges would come from the New Haven County Clerks office then ended the call with "Good Luck!" After speaking with the local police department, they informed me that it is most likely a scam and that in order to "file criminal charges" against me, they would first have to sue me in civil court.
I received a phone call from phone # 860-506-6541 Diane Johnson from RG Financial. She stated that all attempts have been removed and a case will be filed both state and federal law. I have dealt with other callers with this same type of language. I have gotten the Office of the Attorney General involved and I was told that I should never give them any information and if its a real debt they must first identify that. I was also told that they must provide you with paperwork before they can do anything so the advise to me was ignore its a scam. The end of ther message that Diane Johnson left said "Good Luck" just like the other call I received.
