Same thing. This morning @ 8AM. Plus 3 during dinner and God knows how many while at work. No message. Well, Guess what. My wife & I hate this freakin liberal rag excuse for a newspaper without this harassment. Did ya think there's ever a chance in _ _ _ of us ever subscribing?
For 3 days ive been getting phone calls from this number. I live in new York and have no connection to Hartford except that I flew into Hartford on Monday, which is when the calls began. I've called them during regular business hours and the first time they told me that my number was listed under "Sarah whatevers" name and then she proceeded to tell me this woman's entire address and info, the second time, after explaining all this, she assured me that however my number got there it was erased and I wouldn't hear from them again. And I didn't, for 5 hours, when I got two missed calls, and one I picked up but there was no one there. Not impressed at all with the Hartford current.
Nine calls in the last 2 days - caller ID says "out of area", leaves no message. If you won't identify yourself & won't leave a message, I don't want to talk to you. I pay the phone bill, it's there for MY convenience - I answer on my terms.
