The Hartford Insurance Group seems to know about 860-547-3565, as a call to that number results in a recording stating that The Hartford is not soliciting and that 'corporate security is working to resolve the issue'.
I have been getting 4 calls a day from this number. I just wanted to verify that it was not actually "The Hartford" calling about our insurance. Thanks.
They started calling me from this number, labeled on CID as "The Hartford" on April 28. That day, I got calls from them at 4:03 p.m., 5:55 p.m., 7:23 p.m. and 8:54 p.m. They called once each day on 4/29, 5/4, 5/7, 5/9 & 5/10. No messages ever left. I did tweet The Hartford to let them know it appears someone is spoofing their info on CID. They want me to call their consumer affairs department, but really, what can they do? All I can tell them is how annoying it is & when they've called me.
Received a call today from, according to my Caller ID, THE HARTFORD, 860-547-3565. This is a major insurance company based in the Hartford area. The caller was a male who said his name was "Chris' and he was calling from a "Green Energy Group". He was selling home solar panels, etc. He had nothing in common with The Hartford. This is a 'spoofed' number being used to run a telemarketing scam for home solar panels, etc. If you call back The Hartford at 860-547-3565, you will hear a recording that states that they are NOT running any telemarketing sales, etc. and their Security Dept. is working on the problem. It appears that their number has been 'spoofed' in order to conceal the caller's true identity......
The Hartford Insurance Group outsourced their operations to India and H-1b guest-workers who now have all their customers information, and this is the result!
At one time, this telemarketer was trying to sell solar energy. Now, it's INSURANCE from The Hartford Group. As usual, they are phishing for your credit card information.
