Concurring with cmille's post above. Answered the incoming call and spoke with someone attempting to solicit. They disconnected when challenged. Phone number is spoofed. Return call to 860-676-5541 connects to a fax machine.
This is not Otis Elevator it is a telemarketer spoofing their telephone number. They called last night and I didn't answer the phone. Because I know a man who works at OE in Farmington CT. I called the number back. I shouldn't have done this because it makes the criminal know that your phone number is a working number. The spoofed number for OE is actually just a fax machine somewhere. Today the crooks called me back. I answered it. I heard a robo recording say "this is James" and so I hung up immediately. Robo calls are illegal. And of course, so is spoofing your phone number to bother innocent people. Don't bother engaging with these jerks, just block them!
