It's a marketing company conducting calls in CT, running surveys about the upcoming election. They have called my cell phone 4 times already and not left messages - this time, I decided to take the survey and see what was up. I nearly hung up on them at the start of the call, because I was told that "in order for this survey to be valid, we'll need one male and one female person to take this survey from the same household. I have the female part of this survey fulfilled, is there a male member of your household available?" (wtf, really?)
I told him that the other person in my household was currently occupied, and the survey was conducted anyway.
The questions are very much loaded - there was no mention of any other parties other than the Democrats or Republicans during the inquiries about the election, and I noticed the not too subtle change statements about the candidates on one side of the fence compared to the other. They were also only interested in asking about the Presidential or Senate elections by registered voters in CT.
