Called me and I called back. Kirby Vaccuum. They offer to come to my home and clean my carpets or buff my harwood floors. I have AT & T call vantage and I have "per call blocking." With this service I can block individual numbers. So, I am blocking theirs. Addtionally, I am on the National Do Not Call Registry and advised Kirby Vaccuum of the same. They tried to tell me "a freind submitted" my name. I informed them it does not offer dispensation from the law and they are not to call me. All set.

It's GP Industries - a distributor for the KIRBY vacuum company. They want to give you a "free cleaning" (home demonstration) to try and sell you a vacuum. Do it for a good cocktail party story - but be ready for at least 3-5 hours of your time wasted - they'll say only 90 minutes.
860-823-1302 telephoned on Wednesday 01/02/2013. When I answered, the caller abruptly hung up! How rude!
This number "belongs" to some marketing "arm" of Kirby vacuums. In the past, I have cordially requested that Kirby NOT telephone again, and I have been assured that Kirby will NOT again telephone. The hang-up call I received on Wed 01/02/2013 is another reason no one should transact business with this firm. Period.
