Did not recognize number, so let it ring to voicemail. When I checked voicemail, turns out it was an automated call that mispronounces my name, says "This call is for ... Do not listen to this message if you are not ..." then for whatever reason it hangs up without actually leaving a message. This is about the 10th call I've received in the past 2 months or so (I haven't been keeping exact track), and it's getting really annoying!
I got the same call. In the past I used my old dial up modem to return these calls. I set my computer to call telemarketer number. When they hang my computer calls back every 5 seconds up to 999 times. It works and no has followed through with threats of court action. My number is on the DO NOT CALL list.
ok they say they are from at&t/bellsouth trying to collect money for past due bills. This is false. I contacted at&t and they checked my account and there is no past due bill. The guy stated that they have been getting a lot of problems with scammers trying to collect
