Called my cell phone many time in the past, and they left no message.

I answered the phone with mute turned on. No speech or recording from caller. Caller disconnected after 15 seconds.

I think answering the phone with mute on and leaving it off hook until the caller disconnects may cause their  robodialer to flag the number as inoperative or a machine.

Just got this call , did not answer I have Verizon.

TELEMARKETERS CALLING CELLULAR PHONES... what a bunch of [***]. This is why I got rid of my land line some years back. UGH.

i called back and it said its for telemarketing from hartford ct. really sketchy, said press any key to end calls or whatever, so it did. how did they get my number?? i dont even live in connecticut!
