Caller asked for the person in charge. I (truthfully) said they weren't in and I asked if I could help. The caller wanted to speak to the person in charge of our Visa/Master Card merchant account. I told the lady we don't accept credit cards here, and I asked her to take our name off her list.

Boiler room sounds in the background. Gruff voice with a NY accent "Is the owner in?" No and he hung up.

Sent to a special extension for "junk calls".  Background sounds / No Message / Hang-up.  Phone 860-973-2832 definitely added to our list of phone numbers not to answer.

Woman who called me said she was from MasterCard and asked my for my card number. She would not give me her name. I quickly hung up.

They hung up w/o saying anything. Called the # back, blocked & recording says "this # is not in service.". Spammers spoofing a number, probably.
