Who called from 8622435928

This makes me sick! I am a caregiver, and I have an account on Care.com that is set up to let families seeking care, notify me if they're interested in my services.

A few days ago I got a text from this #: 1 (862) 243-5928

It said: "Need a Senior caregiver,Kindly send your resume/refrences to me my email [email protected] from care.com.Thanks, Courtney"

So I emailed her my resume. Later that evening, I got this reply from her:
"Hello,Thank you for your response.I live in New York  but we are moving to your area on 1st of June. I will need Senior caregiver immediately between the hours of 8am through 1pm Monday to Friday. Do let me know if the time works. More importantly, My mom is currently placed on a wheelchair due to an accident she had some weeks ago.She can walk a few distance though but the specialist advised she uses the chair for a while.The rate is $15/hour.She is 66yrs old and I really need a honest and responsible care for her. This could be a temporary/permanent job. It depends on what your schedule looks like but I do like to be sure if you are available for the first month.I am planning on getting her a powered wheelchair and have contacted a seller.I will let you know as soon as we finalize issues.I will like you to send me your complete name, address and cell phone number so I can include that to my payroll for the period. I also will like you to tell me a few things about yourself.Here is a little about me. I am a single mother,I am 39 and I am hard of hearing. I have lived in New York all my life but I am moving to your area in a few weeks. I have my own business(Self Employed) which is based on the development and canceling of the deaf people in the community. I am never married and  I attend the catholic.You will get to know more when we meet.Kindly include in your email your picture, your complete name,address and  your mobile number and  so I can text you in case I need to pass an urgent information.

I had a funny feeling when I read her email to me, and now I'm sure this is a scam because the text and email I got from her are virtually identical to some of the complaints posted--just some varying details...names, number, etc. SCAM SCAM SCAM...BEWARE!!!!

I just received the same text the only difference is the nsme. Also on care.com very scary

I also received the same text from Stacey Gills because of my care.com profile.

Oh my gosh she did exactly the same thing to me but I fell for it. She sent me a check to cash for well over 2000.00 and had me cash it which I did. Then she emailed me today saying to send her a 1000.00 of my own money so she can get the wheelchair and she would pay me back when she moved here which was supposedly going to happen today. I feel like such an idiot. Now I don't know what to do what if if was a bad check? Am I going to get in trouble?
