I received a text message from this number which simply contained the title and price of an item I'd listed on Craig's List. As it contained no question or statement I replied with a question mark. Here's what I got back:

+18622486536: Thanks for getting back to me,i will pay your asking price, Plus $20 to hold it for me..Am currently at work..i work at the sea as an oceanographer..due to this i will not be able to come do the pick up myself and pay via cash, so due to that i will be pay you via check so after the Check has been cashed by you i will ask my mover's to come for the pick up at your location 7:53 PM
I think any sane person can safely see this is a scam.
