The caller asks for some bogus name preson then when you say that they have the wrong number, they start the sales pitch, "Well maybe you can help me, I represent (blah blah blah)... Hang up and report it.
Guy with a jersey # with a southern accent asked for Michelle then when I said wrong number he said well maybe u can help me. I'm from disabled veterans blah blah blah. This call was 9pm Sunday night.
Same as above. Caller asks for a bogus name (in this case "Steven"). Once I said it was a wrong number, he said maybe you can help me..and then went into a sales pitch for disabled veterans....blah blah...I hung up.
Same. Caller called my cell phone and asked for Michelle. My Daughter is Michelle. When i asked what this was about he gave me the pitch about the Disabled Vets protecting our country and asked for a donation. And that he was going to send me a packet to mail back a check. I told him to call back and ask for Michelle. I definately had a bad feeling with this one. I will see if he calls back and ask him what organization he works with. Such a shame that there are people out there like this. I can see how an elderly person would be fooled into sending money thinking it was the Disabled Vets. Horrible.
Same thing caller asked for Ceasar. Went into speal about vets. Told him he had a teen phone. said he was sorry and would take it off the list. Right before I hung up I heard him ask again if Ceasar was there. I called the number back and you get a recorded message that you have reached the fundraising center and nobody is there to take your call.
