Scam. A man called me with the well known scam of a relative in a car accident "I don't know, there was a man and a woman in a bad accident, do you have a brother or sister?" Started to explain that his brother had told him, which would have lead to his claim that my relative was held hostage and ransom requests. I got off the phone. Confirmed that my family was safe.

Scam! This phone number called and claimed that there was a three car accident: silver, white, and black cars, involving a man and woman and they need my help. They told me to come to a certain address. While I was on the phone with him I was on the phone with my family members making sure they're safe and once he heard I was on the phone with them he hung up.

SCAM! Got the same message about and accident involving a family member. He identified himself as Mike. His brother was in the accident and got my number from the brother.
They literally called my mom telling her just now that my dad had been in an accident and ran over their niece. That they had my dad and were heading to the hospital. They demanded she bring money to "help him and the child" or they were going to shoot him in the head. They named my dad's truck by color, knew his name, and the local city's name. However, my dad was standing out in the driveway along with his truck. I told em nice try and that I was calling the police and they hung up.
