I've been getting calls too. A few yesterday and a few today. Left a minute long voicemail of what sounds like a TV playing in the background talking about kilometers or something.
Same as others....multiple calls since yesterday to my cell. Tried to return call and message says it's disconnected, however same # just called again. Sometimes called under area code 617. Someone please investigate, my # is registered on do not call list.
this number will never be able to be called back. The "555" part is not of any number in existence. If you watch any tv/movie, the 555 is always used in a telephone number so that someone watching can't call it. Today's technology allows cell phones to make a ghost number that reflects any number one wants. They can even make it look like you are calling yourself. Why, I don't know. Should be illegal. If you are going to call my house, have the balls to identify yourself.
UPDATE: this number called my cell 2x. I picked it up 2nd time out of curiosity. It is a political survey. Which is exempted from "no call " lists. Seemed to be bipartisan.
