This is a spoofed robo call from the Pisa Group here: http://www.thepisagroup.com
They are trying to sell newspapers using robocalls. Which are illegal unless they have written authorization to call you that way. Each call is worth $1500 each. All robocalls are illegal on cell phones. Always get someone on the phone. Play stupid and get the companies information. Then politely say this is not for me after all and please remove me from the call list. When they call back and they will, it is a $1500 call. You can contact a consumer attorney near you and sue them for every call. Get a note pad out and write down every number and time they call. Who they are and what they wanted. Also very important to state if it was a robo call. Being on the no call list doesn't help you not get these calls. It does help when going to court because they have broken the law by calling you in the first place. It makes your case stronger. If you can try recording the calls. There are options to do that even with a home phone. Search Google for more details. And look for apps for your cell phone. Otherwise, put them on speaker and record using a mini recording device. You can also use a video camera to video the number on the phone and record everything that is said. Perfect for court. Many people have received over $250,000 in court for these spam calls. Don't let them get away with it. Nail them with a lawsuit. Consumer attorneys usually do not charge for this type of suit. They get their money when you win.
This number has been calling me for days. Once the phone starts to ring, they don't hang up. I don't have voice mail so the phone rings endlessly until I pick it up, then no one there. I just called the number and it was answered as the Piza Group. They had options for ordering newspaper subscriptions. I selected the option of having my number removed from all calling lists. The recording said they would remove my number within 48 hours. We'll see if this works!
