They call about car warranties, insurance on my car, or anything else they think they can scam me with. I want it to stop! Most of the calls are for car insurance. If I didn't have car insurance, I wouldn't be driving! Dingalings!!
Got a call from 863 240-1102 as the National Car Care Company. They knew my mother’s name, vehicle year, make, and model trying to sell an extended warranty plan and asked for the mileage. I said she would be back later.
I called back within 10 minutes and they identified themselves as the National Car Care Company again. I asked where they were located and he said" 2321 East 4[th ]Street Santa Ana California[92705] ". I asked where my mother could take the vehicle for service if she bought the plan. He said, she could go to her local dealer for service. I asked if the dealer would recognize them as being the extended warranty company and said “I am sure they would”. He got uncomfortable and said he would get me someone else on the phone to make sure he didn’t give me wrong information because he could lose his job since the call was recorded. He asked me what the purpose of the call was and I told him that “I was seeing if his company was legitimate “and he politely said “I have to go now”. Now normally they would offer the Better Business Bureau or Angie’s list etc. I looked up the address on Google Map and found it to be a strip plaza with a couple of available units to rent. I am very suspicious and personally will not answer the call from them again.
