Yes I had received a call form this number supposedly from a law office, but the man who had called me would not give me the name if the law office, and when I asked he hung up on me. So I don't know what is going on, but, I think that they are trying to scam people out of money. He called me and told me that I was going to be sued for a pay day loan that I never got, but he would not give me any kind of real information on this supposed payday loan.

Yep this is a scam. I have received two calls voicemails telling me to call 863-354-6500. The voicemails say the EXACT same message each time. They are reading off a script and they have VERY thick Indian accents. The message always says, "This message is intended for (insert name). (Insert name), the very second you receive this message I need you or your obtained attorney of record to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time-sensitive. My name is John Williams and the line to my division is 863-354-6500. I repeat 863-354-6500. Don't disregard this message and do return the call now. (Insert name) if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. So goodbye and take care."

- I've read a lot of different complaints about these scamsters. They are just trying to get information from you and to get money from you. Don't give them anything. Apparently, they threaten force saying that if you don't repay this "debt" you will be arrested and put in jail. You can NEVER be arrested for an unpaid debt. You can be sued but never arrested or put in jail. Secondly, there is no "debt". Apparently, they get your information from a payday loan site that you may have applied for in the past and say that you owe them money for this "loan" that you did not pay on. If you haven't taken out any loans, or if you aren't late on any loans, then you have nothing to worry about.

Beware if you listed your work number or and reference numbers on a payday loan application, they WILL call them. So just warn your workplace and references to disregard this call as they are part of an extortion sceme.

I received that exact message but from Rox Murphy, but also with a very thick Indian accent.  He said I was being sued in California but the number he's calling from is a Florida number.  What a scam!
