Answered. Silence on the other end for 10 seconds, then they hung up. Probably robo-scam of some sort. Blocked this number. Is being on the do-not-call list worth anything?...

do not call list is for telemarketers, not scammers. Scammers are breaking the law, why would you think they would abide by a do not call list?

got a call from this number, didn't recognize it so ignored the call. Looked it up, it has been flagged for scamming people by whitepages.com

Received 2 calls from this number minutes apart.  Did not recognize number did not answer as we are presently in Italy.
