Called regarding giving extended warrenty on a car we own.  He didn't give name or company.  We said "No, we didn't want it.  Too expensive".  Plus we wouldn't give any information over the phone for loans anyway.  We'd go to our dealership..

Then this person became horribly rude stating "If you're so broke why are you waisting my time and your time?"  We didn't call him..he called my phone.  I'm the mom.  We don't even know who or what he is.  

I'd like to know if this guy is some kind of hustler.  No buisness would be this outrageous.

I received a similar phone call.  Pushing an extended warranty for my car.   They didn't even know what my car was and they advertised that they were the original warranty holder for my car.  Not true.  

The person's name is Gerold and he works for Great Atlantic Warranty.  They are rather pushy.  The 888-290-9711 number is associated with this company.  

They tell you they have several different warranty options and one of them is with Warranty America, who state on their website (www.warrantyamerica.net) that they don't use the RECORDED OR COMPUTERIZED CALL and they want to know about it.  

Great Atlantic Warranty provides extentions supposedly to the person you want to talk to, but it doesn't always end up being the correct person.  x 259 is Gerold, x 225 is Chris.  You can't really get to Andrew unless you go through one of these people.  The warranties they sell don't appear to cover the most expensive parts of car repairs.  They provide a long list of what they do cover (all appear to be relatively inexpensive parts).
