Same deal here - calling my work and calling 2 references I placed on an on line application for a Cash Advance - that's how I put 2 + 2 together - I placed my work and the two people on that application. So, when I called them back - they stated that they had a fraud case against me, I was going to jail - blah blah blah - but I did manage to get the name of the company they said I had the unpaid loan with. They also indicated the email address [email protected] - so guess what? My damn PC has been hijacked with spyware. I have contacted the company who they say I have a loan with to see if they can do anything.
