Called offering dental insurance at an unusually low rate. Said they only allowed payment via bank or credit card account number; if we have no money in account we can call to tell them when we do and they will charge then. Would not send any paperwork to sign before opening a "policy" or anything. Hung up on them.
I purchased the Dental Insurance that they were selling, it was a plan through MetLife. I gave them my credit card # and they were about 4 days late in getting me my info but it did come! I verified the plan with the dentist that the agent gave me and I have had my first appointment. this insurance is real. The number they gace me to call back was 866-973-9839 everytime I call that number I get my agent! Anyways, just thought you should know...
Call originates from area code 804 which is an area code for Greenville,
South Carolina or Spartanburg, S. C. It was split from area code 803.
I am keeping a list of the date and time of each call. If the calls become a form of harassment, I will send a copy of my list to the police
in both Greenville and Spartanburg to try to get this annoyance stopped.
If that doesn't do it, perhaps sending the data to the Attorney General
for the state of South Carolina will get this pestilence stopped,
particularly if the telemarketer is rude or domineering or seeks private
information regarding personal information No one needs abuse,
period.
Called 2 times today (Saturday, March 3, 2010) and did not leave message. I was away from phone at time. Caller name does not show. After reading reports here, I will not ever answer their calls. They can leave a message if call is important.
