Been getting calls from 864-059 for several days and various 864-215 #'s all day today. Think they are related. When I let the call go to VM, no message was left. Usually, with #'s I don't recognize, I pickup and immediately hangup. Answering validates that this is a working #. They get the idea soon enough. BTW, my landline/mobile are AT&T. Also, my understanding that the do not call list (I'm there since day one) only works with toll free #'s (800,855,866, etc) unless you report a reg # (864-215-1202 for ex) but there's no guarentee the calls will stop. They call from various #'s they bought. I'm in SC. (Really, you answer and it says goodbye? What a way to run a business!)
I also don't answer if I don't recognize the number. They have been calling for months...sometimes up to 3 times a day ! I am on the National Do Not Call List. This number is coming from S.Carolina but I also get them from Florida, Texas and Georgia. :(
Same here. 864-059-4744. Usually only lets it ring twice, but if I answer I answer I get computer saying Goodbye as well. Are we all Verizon by chance?
Am on the do not call list. If a number does not show who it's from on my caller ID I do not answer it. If it's important they will allow me to see who they are. If not, don't waste both our times.
I have been getting these calls for many weeks, several times a day. I tried to call back today and I was informed no such number.
I am also on the National do not call list.
I have Charter service for land line and yes Verizon for cell.
