They called and wanted to talk to my mother who is in a nursing home. They actually wanted to make arrangements when they could talk with her at the nursing home! I told them my mom has dementia and can't talk on the phone. Then they wanted me to send them POA papers to them, but refused to say what this was about. I told them I wouldn't send them legal papers without knowing what this was about. Told them to send me a letter, but they refused to. They were quite rude. For all I know they could be scammers or identity thieves!
This company buys old paper debts and try to collect on them. Some are as old as 15+ years.
I had a car loan back in the early 90s that was dismissed in a bankrupcty and they are trying to
