I received a call today from 864-305-4290. The message was from a woman named Tabitha Bass and the name of the law firm was muffled.
She said that there was some fraudulent activity against my ssn and that they were preparing to file criminal charges. She said I should have received a letter of intent a few days ago (which I did not). I had to call them today or else they would proceed and have the charges forwarded to my county, which was not even pronounced right. She had no accent, but seemed to muffle up on certain parts of the message. The call back number was the same number that showed on my caller id. I searched the number: half the searches said it was a cell phone number, other half said it was landline. However, not one search showed it was associated with a law firm in South Carolina. From the quality of the message, I believe it was a cell phone, but cannot say for sure.
I keep close watch on all my finances since I have been scammed in the past. I have enough protection to alert me if something has happened. I pay my bills; so there is no way I am calling these people back and getting scammed again. Be careful out there everyone!

We have received a similar call. We will be contacting the FCC, our State Attorney General and the State Bar for South Carolina. I think it is illegal to impersonate a lawyer or law firm. We are going to NAIL these jerks.
We will see you in our state in court....but not for what you FALSELY accused of us, Tabitha Bass.
There is no Fuller Law Firm in South Carolina. Called the South Carolina State Bar at (803)799-6653 and was told this "firm" does not exist. The number for the legal commission in South Carolina is (803)734-2038.
Tabitha Bass and Tabitha Jilek and "Fullers Law Firm" are on notice that appropriate authorities are being contacted.
Just had the almost same exact thing happen to us. We are reporting her. She just scared the mess out of me and my husband. She tried to tell us that my husband would go to jail for a federal offense. Someone should be able to stop her!
