This number called me very early in the morning, and I work the grave yard shift, so I was asleep. When I finally answered it, they hung up on me without saying anything!
I received a phone call trying to sell me diabetic supplies. I heard the presentation and was giving it some thought since I have diabetes type 2. But when the person asked to read what was on my Medicare card, my social security number is also on the card. I told the person that I wanted this call finished and said I was hanging up because I did not instigate the call and didn't want to give my social security out. She rudely hung up quickly without any further comment.
If you have diabetes DO NOT REGISTER with anyone as all you get is alot of telemarketers who are going to save you a bundle on money on supplies. Why are these people not subject to the "Do not call" List? If you mention the list to them, they immediately hang up on you and will not give the name of the company they work for.
