They call several times a day this has been going on for days. I do not answer calls I do not recognize and if it was important they would leave a message. I would be happy to call them back if they would leave a message. I am on a do not call list and I read that this aggravation.

Call Screening
Call Screening allows you to automatically route up to 12 selected incoming phone numbers to a polite message stating that calls are not being accepted at this time.
To Activate:
Lift the handset, listen for the dial tone, and then press *60. A menu of options will guide you to activate Call Screening.
To Deactivate:
Lift the handset, listen for the dial tone, and then press *80. A menu of options will guide you to deactivate Call Screening.
Had my new Charter phone line installed 4 days ago..
Got my first call from 864-509-9259 at 9:23 AM today,
CID said GREENVILLESC but a little research showed
it originated from a call center in Abbeville SC..
Just added my new number to the Do Not Call Registry
