This # called this morning but never left a message. I'm on a do not call list and wonder how do these people get through. Time to get rid of my land line I've had enough. I'm a disabled vet stuck at home and I'm sick of all these unwanted calls.
George, the do not call list is not a call blocking service. It is just a list purchased monthly by legitimate businesses in order to honor the requests of those on the list, and most people don't understand that it is nothing more. I don't blame you for getting rid of your home phone land line. I did and went to a Straight Talk phone. I haven't had a scam caller yet. Of course I know that eventually I will but with the free apps for call blocking and the ability to get a new number anytime I want makes it more palatable for me. At least until something is done about all of the Telephone terrorists.
