A man calling from GW Financial 864-642-3179 called telling me they had done an audit on our taxes for 2008-2013 tax years. I interrupted him and told him this was a scam and it's being reported to authorities. I hung up. 864 is an area code from South Carolina.
Thick Indian accent, pretend that he is from IRS. He asked me if I have a lawyer and if i have to give him his number.
It's not the first time when these people called me , first time they were from Microsoft. Allays I asked the guy if he has a sister to perform oral sex , or if is she ,sometimes a woman is calling,I asked her the same thing. Not very happy answers . I believe they don't like oral sex.
This lowlife called our home phone from phone number: 864.642.3179. A man with a very heavy accent (nature/ dialect was similar to that of citizens from one of the countries from the African continent!) was claiming that he was calling in reference to an IRS debt owed by my recently deceased brother. He repeatedly asked "do (we) have a criminal defense attorney, because (we) are in VERY big trouble". Immediately realizing that this was a scam, I questioned him regarding his name (he said his name was John Parker), his return contact phone number, exactly whom he was representing, etc. And just for fun, I asked him to please spell "IRS" (and identify the acronym meaning!) and to confirm whether he was using the term "big trouble" with one G, or two ... he immediately he hung up; as expected, the coward/ thief did not answer when I immediately returned the said call to the calling phone number. Truly pitiful that scum as such exists without conscience to prey upon the unwary.
