how many calls have you received from this number Kay? someone is using this number thru Craigs list and has said they are sending me a certified check thru Fed Ex LOL...to pay for the items, I know it's a scammer just letting you know, it is someone out of the country and is using a South Carolina phone number. This idiot texted me earlier today asking if I still had my iPhone 4S. Getting sick and tired of these freaking scammers. Craigslist needs to definitely handle these people better.
I was selling my daughters Xbox 360 MW3 edition with 2 wireless controllers This guy by the name of Nicholas Cage said he would send me the money through paypal, so I set up a paypal account, he said he sent it so I checked its not in there so I called paypal they have no record of the amount, so I received an email saying to send it to Name: Richard Peters

This is a classic scam - he has sent you a fake PayPal number & there is no money there for you. Tell him you know it's a scam - call him out on it (and ignore his texts or block his number if you can).
Placed an add on cragslist a day prior to when I was approched with a text that a so called buyer wanted to buy my item. Well as i can see, i noticed others are victom to this same phisher atempts to fool you to send the item you're selling fooling you to think he paid for the item with these fake spoofed paypal emails having you think you have money pending to be released into your account but a requirment has to be accomplished to have these funds released. This guy was so eger for me to ship my item quick fast and in a hurry. As I was thinking these emails were conferming payment, I had to see for my self with in my account threw paypal. I didn't see any indacation of any transaction that was suposably been made. The number one way you can notice a fake paypal email, the spoofed paypal email will not display your first and last name. Paypal emails always states your first and last name. Since I noticed this void,I played stupid making him think I shiped the Item. LOL It was funny in the end cause I made him wait a couple of hours making who ever this idiot is, think that he had fooled me. I sent a last email saying, "Here is the tracking code! It's in the attachment within the email" It was a jpeg image of a guy fliping him off with text under it stating, "Go F*** Your Self!!" I then reported his spoofed emails. Tell you honestly, I was almost fooled. But just the way he was rushing, and pushing for the conformation info, and how he didn't care how much he spent nor didn't wait for my respons of shipment information. It was all happening to fast. I had called paypal to conform payment because I was not seeing nothing on my end threw my paypal account. So when you see no indacation of transactions, call paypal just to make sure. Paypal has informed me when any transaction is made, it will show in your account. Not like Bank of Amarica or wells fargo which to me on how there accounts are set up for fail making money for over draft fees. Besides my point, paypal tracks your transactions displaying any transaction thats been made. So don't be fooled again. Lots have learned the hard way as I can see. Mistakes happen. All you can do is learn from them.
Hi I have just received message from that number I right off the. Back knew it was a scam but I went along with it for a while the idiot kept texting me I told him I sent him the item he bought he said he went to UPS and nothing there lol
