Was a robo call and left a cut-off voice message that said "your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice." Then different voice: "Press the number 1 on your telephone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates. Thank you."
Not sure what interest rates they are talking about as I am all set with my bank and gov student loans. Clearly a fraud.
I also got a message about lowering my credit card interest rate and pressed 1 to speak to someone to find out the specific credit card they were calling on and when he listed off a bunch of credit card names, I said "so you are not from a company that issued me a credit card and you are phishing for information" he got very rude and said "I'm fishing for your [***]...." and that is when I hung up.
All the dressings of a scam. It has to be a credit card info scammer. BEWARE! My was a recorded message telling me there was a problem with my credit card. If you ask "Is it my American Express Card?" (Pick any card you do not have), then if they say yes, you know its a scam.
