They have called me repeatedly at work. I have asked them to lose my number and stop harassing me. The 4th time the lady was extremely rude and wanted to do her speech I said lose this number and stop harassing me. They just called a 5th time so I threatened the district attorney on them. Hopefully they got the point.
Jamie, they will NEVER get the point. These twits are criminals. Worse, they abide by NO rules, usually call from overseas (with a fake/spoofed phone number), and are extremely difficult to track down. Threatening them or telling them to leave you alone simply spurs them on -- and they WILL continue to call you out of spite.
Your best courses of action are to 1) Purchase a call blocker device; 2) Complain to your carrier company about the issue; 3) Complain to the Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
