It is 11:21 a.m. THANKSGIVING DAY and this # won't stop blowing my phone up! He's called 6 times today already! This is insane! He's also called from a few other #s & every time i answer (as I've been ignoring the calls), i can barely understand his English (he is a foreigner) & he says I've been approved for a $5,000 loan (which i did not apply for) and wants verification of my checking/routing # as well as my ssn & says that i qualify for the loan if i can pay my first installment up front. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!!! I did apply for a cash advance (which is where i believe he got my info), however the loan company that i applied with already has this info. You should NEVER give any of your personal info to ANY incoming call as you cannot positively identify the caller even if they say they are from the company of which you do business with. Also, you should NEVER have to pay upfront for a loan or grant. Processing fees, if any, will be added to your account balance. I hope this helps someone in keeping their personal info protected. Keeps calling my phone #, then hangs up. I call back and get answering machine. I tell them that I will report them for harassment, but the still keep calling. It is getting absurd and ridiculous.
We have kept a log of these calls the past 2 weeks. average 4-5 a day. Automated. I called it back got a person week and half ago . he said they wouldnt remove us. I told him i'm reporting them to FTC and other authorities along with gaining their physical address to serve suit on them. He told me gpo for it smuggly.
I have been receiving a call from this telephone number for about two weeks straight even after I have said don't call he said that they're calling from Advance America and I was approved for a loan for $4,000 he instructed me to go to a MoneyGram and pay 265 so that I can receive the wire I informed him that I was not interested and to please stop calling him he keeps calling he's even cursed at me he's told me F me and continues to call I don't know what else to do
