Recording stating I was to press 1 to lower my credit card interest. So I thought I'd play along. I pressed 1. A young male indian voice greeted me. I listened a bit as he went through his schtick, then I asked him which of my credit cards we were discussing. He went through a whole list of banks, with which none do I have credit cards. When I called him on the issue, he said and I quote "you piece of [***]!" then mumbled something in Tamil i did not understand. If I could only find out who is having this sort of business, i would be most grateful. I believe the death penalty for telemarketers is not extreme enough. I believe this sort of scammer, company should be treated with the utmost prejudice. We need stricter laws about this sort of business.
