I answered this call, waited several seconds for the caller to speak, I'm guessing about 6 seconds. He said hello with the very bored toned of a telemarketer. I repeated my business name and he ignored that and asked for my husband. I told him he was out but I'd be happy to take a message. He said thank you and hung up on me. I called the number back and and got a response "We're sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service..."
How can this be? How can someone be calling from a line that is disconnected?
Since there was a delay usually caused by an autocaller system, I am assuming this was a telemarketing call.
