This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call list in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. They also fail to provide a physical address and phone number when asked, yet further violating the TCPA. Their recorded message thanks the victim for requesting additional information (which the victim has not done) and then informs the victim that they have been selected to make hundreds of thousands of dollars per week using the scammers automated dialer and marketing system, and that the victim will not have to do any work to get this money, it is all done by agents and automated systems. This is clearly a pyramid scheme. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
I received a call on my cell phone and did not understand the caller so I hung up. I called back and the recording wanted to know if I was interested in starting my own business.
