I find that phone numbers to my phone that are not familiar, but are in the same block of numbers as my own tend to be scam callers rather than misdials.  They do this to make you think the call is valid so you'll answer the call, but the few I have answered were always scammers.  They just bogus in a 10 digit number with the first 6 numbers matching the phone # they are calling. They almost never leave a message.  The only one that did leave a message was a con.
